The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce has hired Leisa Achterhoff to serve as Membership Coordinator where she will be responsible for new member sales, as well as managing the Ambassador Committee and other membership retention efforts. Prior to joining the Easley Chamber, Leisa was most recently employed with GOS (Greenville Office Supply) in Greer where she served as an account manager for outside sales for regional accounts. In addition, she has past experience in sales and office management. Cindy Hopkins, President of the Easley Chamber, stated, “We are excited to have Leisa on our team, as this position places a dedicated focus on meeting the needs of our membership. Leisa’s past sales and customer service experience, combined with her enthusiastic personality, make her a perfect fit for her new role with our organization.”
Originally from Michigan, Leisa has lived in the Easley-Powdersville area for the past 19 years. She and her husband, Jay, have four children who are all graduates of Wren High School. Their three youngest children are currently attending college, and their oldest is married and resides in Travelers Rest. In addition, Leisa and Jay are active members at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Easley.
