The Tri-County Business and Professional Women announce their Tri-County 2017 Woman of Accomplishment Award Winner

Bethany Weber - as a single mom with two little girls, one who was ill with a Neuromuscular Progressive condition including heart and other serious conditions, Bethany started her beauty business in the basement of her home.  Her business grew and Bethany’s Studio 1 opened its doors to the public in Clemson in 2006.  Then Bethany opened a Beauty school in Easley and two years ago added a Merle Norman franchise to Bethany’s Studio 1.  This summer Bethany’s Studio 1 will move into its new location in Patrick Square in Clemson. Bethany enjoys sharing her story with others.   She said, “The situation I faced in the beginning of my career still is an example of what many working mothers face today. I would like to speak to those issues; to be able to mentor and encourage women who are trying to provide income for their families as well as follow their own dreams and goals.”  Bethany and her family are members of Marathon church.  In 2015 she married Trey Weber and welcomed a stepdaughter into the family.  Bethany actively participates in charity events especially those for children with disabilities.  She supports the Shriners Children Hospital where her daughter received a great deal of health care over the years.
